And communist merch too, if you want to be an edgelord about it.

Your heart’s in the right place…
But you don’t understand what’s happening and you’re just blindly lashing out and instead of asking questions you’re accusing people you don’t understand of being “them”.
Like, it’s important people stop doing what you’re doing and understand why. Because your attitude is the same attitude that gets pointed at groups by fascists.
I punched my first Nazi in highschool, but that’s because he showed me an actual swastika tattoo on his chest, not because he said something I didn’t understand.
If you want to get technical, all the games are bad because they extract vast amount of resources from people who live in the host city and leave behind unusable infrastructure. Also, the corruption. So much corruption.

You stole my words. Though mine had more expletives.
I’m not sure why anyone would want one except to be an edgelord but there’s nothing obviously offensive on it.

They released shirts of every Olympics…
The fact that the one drawing controversy sold out isn’t shocking, it’s not just edgelords and fascists buying it, “collectors”/scalpers are gonna be buying them up to flip as well.
It’s a feedback loop, the more the media makes a big deal and ignores all the context, the more demand there would be for it.

I don’t think it was strange for them to offer that shirt for sale, especially since they seem to have a print-on-demand system which does not involve any overhead for having an additional design. Offering the shirt is IMO less awkward that trying to pretend that Nazi Germany never existed.

How are those things at all equivalent
The 1936, 1980 and 2008 games all feature in the range. Almost like it’s a commemoration of Olympiads not the people who hosted them.
But why the supposition that games hosted by Communist led countries are “bad” like the Nazi games?
If you want to get technical, all the games are bad because they extract vast amount of resources from people who live in the host city and leave behind unusable infrastructure. Also, the corruption. So much corruption.

This looks like ragebait. No picture of the shirt, but three pictures with swastikas, plus random trump twitter posts.
The shirt itself:
