I’m going to be called a tankie for this, but I don’t this it’s a bad idea for Europe to explore closer connections to china. IMO china is as bad as the US and it doesn’t really matter to whom we align. Optimally we’d have our own security, but that takes time to develop. I think talks with china worst case are a great way of putting pressure on the us.
