No surprises here. A lot of the people leading the anti-trans organizations and movements in the UK and abroad had (quite surprisingly /s) really regressive views in plenty of other issues. Now that they’ve fed the beast and they’re present in political discussions all over the country, it’s only natural that they grow more ambitious.

Im not sure “gaining traction” is the right way of phrasing it, given that thisbis happening in the context of a law change being debated that increases abortion rights.
