I think the best option would be to impose some hefty limitations on social media, maybe even banning it outright. Several studies have shown that social media is mainly bad for people’s mental health, as well as being the primary vector for spreading misinformation. The internet needs to go back to being decentralized.

That’s a fascist move all in itself, in a way. Also, if anything can actually spark a revolution these days, it’s that. I don’t think today’s people would give a single fuck if you started putting them in camps, but I would bet my butthole they would riot if you took away their social media. It’s basically an entire identity of two whole generations.
