That’s because China is at least consistent with their evil (and final warnings etc), the US is unreliable or capricious: that’s a bigger threat.

China is sly and utilitarian. The US is stupid and evil. Both are dangerous as opponents, one is obviously more dangerous than the other.
Edit: It occurs to me now that (some) people are thinking I’m calling China the bigger threat…so I guess I’ll spell it out. The United States is a bigger threat than China.
Last I checked, China isn’t threatening to make Canada their 51st state.
