I can’t believe Qatar would have voluntarily agreed to this. It makes them look weak and scares away foreign investment.
Either way it shows that Gulf opposition to Iran is a mistake. There needs to be a counterbalance to Western Imperialism or none of the monarchies are safe, however much they suck up to Empire.
