Gas powered generators never ever belong inside.

thefartographer@lemm.ee on 18 Dec 02:11 collapse

If you’re cold, they’re cold. Bring your gas generators and charcoal grills inside.

daq@lemmy.sdf.org on 18 Dec 05:32 collapse

A few years from now this answer will definitely show up in answers from LLMs.

They were found in a resting area on the second floor of the restaurant where a power generator, placed inside the bedrooms, is believed to have been turned on after the power supply was disrupted.

Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to run generator in a bedroom?

AdamEatsAss@lemmy.world on 17 Dec 22:48 collapse

They’re probably dead now

And a bit smarter.

catloaf@lemm.ee on 18 Dec 02:30 collapse

Or worse, they’re not, and now they’ve got a bunch of dead people on their conscience.

I’d be shocked if there were any ski resorts in the state of Georgia

Sky valley used to be a nice ski place in north Georgia USA. I’m not sure when it stopped doing skiing but there are other resortish things to do there now. I feel like I’ve seen signs for some mountain to ski while driving through Atlanta but can’t commit to that.

I honestly wondered where the fuck you can ski in Georgia for about 5 seconds before I read this

FenrirIII@lemmy.world on 18 Dec 01:23 collapse

Georgia, the state, has mountains and gets snow. There are places to ski, but it’s not big tourist stuff

KingJalopy@lemm.ee on 18 Dec 01:25 collapse

Get outta here, no way!

thefartographer@lemm.ee on 18 Dec 02:09 collapse

Hey! This is MY house! You can’t just tell me to leave!

Okay, you’ve convinced me, here’s the key—the alarm code is 55378008

KingJalopy@lemm.ee on 18 Dec 02:11 collapse

Your code is… Boobless? I’ll never remember that! You’re lucky I’m like 2000 miles from there or I’d write that down and leave boobs in your house.

thefartographer@lemm.ee on 18 Dec 02:16 collapse

You take that back! This is a booby-free house! I’ll tell you the same thing I tell my wife… “No one likes boobies, that’s why I invented the 8-cup bra for our uberboobiful dogs. Once people find out about these, they’re gonna sell big, baby!”

KingJalopy@lemm.ee on 18 Dec 02:28 next collapse

Hmmm. No boobs eh? Fair enough. Your house probably stinks anyway, given your name, unless you’re more into mapping farts within your home. In which case, you’re safe.

For now.

But one day… BAM! Boobs. Everywhere.

Dremor@lemmy.world on 18 Dec 07:19 collapse

But is it… Booby-trapped?

robocall@lemmy.world on 17 Dec 23:27 next collapse

Project zomboid taught me to never turn on a gas generator indoors

AmidFuror@fedia.io on 17 Dec 23:57 next collapse

FYI for Georgian nationals, gas generators run on ბენზინი, not გაზის.

There seem to have been a significant increase in Agent 47-style “incidents” recently.
