What rights do camels have? Can they be elected into government positions? Or those are only for the asses?

rockerface@lemmy.cafe on 26 Feb 2026 10:50 collapse

I imagine camels are contributing way more value to society than the entire Taliban government

Seriously insane. The being that spawns your children is by some metric less valuable than transportation.

Once you go radical you leave your brain at the door. Makes life easier you don’t have to think. They do it for you.

Reactionary: the opposite-end of the political-spectrum, in this case…

Radical’s left, reactionary’s right.

You ain’t wrong. What are all these right wingers doing on lemmy?

Wrufieotnak@feddit.org on 28 Feb 2026 06:22 collapse

As far as I’m aware, radical does not automatically mean left and reactionary doesn’t mean right.

Radical means extreme. Reactionary does in fact just mean reacting and trying to stop/turn back newer political decisions. The left in the USA or during Nazi Germany for example are reactionary , as they couldn’t set the pace themselves but instead had to react what the fascists were doing.

They aren’t stupid: they’re malicious.

Same as their equivalents are, in all different political-kinds & religious-kinds.

The people who wrote the laws can’t imagine themselves ever abusing a camel, but can see a scenario where they break a womans arm.

Siegfried@lemmy.world on 26 Feb 2026 23:39 collapse

I’m surprissed breaking a womans arm ended up in the illegal side of acts. Im pretty sure someone in Afghanistan is calling it woke

De facto government? The Taliban IS the government.

Yeah but not the recognized government by many nations. It’s important to keep those separate.
