after a joint press appearance with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, journalist Helle Lyng called out to him, asking why he does not take questions, but got no response.
Apparently it wasn’t a press conference, it was a briefing.
So that means there should’ve been no questions, obviously.
🤦♂️
If not then, when?
“Lyng has faced intense online backlash and trolling following the exchange, with some social media users in India branding her a “foreign plant” and a “spy” and accusing her of attempting to embarrass India on the global stage.
Some Indian news channels have also criticised her approach, saying it was disrespectful towards a head of state.”
…
“India ranked 157th out of 180 countries in the latest annual World Press Freedom Index published by Reporters Without Borders last month - a list that Norway has topped for several years now.”
Seems like they’re doing that all on their own.
Snowflakes, all these right wingers.
Mini Hitlers everywhere nowadays 😢
Time to rewatch Inglorious Basterds again.
Under Modi, India doesn’t need help being embarrassed on the global stage.
Appropriate time or not, running from questions is what he does. That’s a fact backed by 12+ years of ZERO press conference or unscripted interviews.
