This is getting moronic and insane, how is it in any way defensible to prevent China to make research in a place widely used and recognized as the best in the world for the purpose?
USA is a batshit crazy country that believes they are entitled to control everything, including preventing others from having what USA has.
If things truly are as reported in this article, it’s disgusting how USA is behaving as a global bully on something as basic as understanding the universe, something that is generally considered a science project of humanity.

The US has been the world’s bully for over a century and a half already. Latin America alone has had like at least two dozen government interventions during that time.
