ACAB
Racist schmucks had it coming, frankly
Edit: Wanted to add some context, just so there is no confusion.
The day prior, this group had been breaking into immigrants homes, pulling them out on the street, and committing arson. They committed arson again today, and were reportedly planning to head to a nearby hotel housing immigrants.
These aren’t “protesters”, they are racists looking to terrorise immigrants.
If ever there is a moment when the police is justified in using violence, this is it.
I’m shedding no tears for these racists being hit in the face with a water canon.
Replying to this with “ACAB” tells me that either you haven’t bothered to look into what was going on, and are just aping American talking points. Or you are siding with the racists terrorising people based on the colour of their skin.
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that it’s ignorance.
It seems that they were dispelling racists protesting the housing of immigrants. Am I reading this incorrectly?
I think it was more about the attempted murder.
It’s their hatred that takes the actions of a single person and applies the same judgement over everyone who doesn’t look white enough or doesn’t agree with them ("put your phones away or you’re next"). The attempted homicide is just a welcome excuse for the shit they do in spite of the wishes of the victims family. They’re filth, and for once the water cannons were aimed at the right targets, so that innocent people are protected from those dipshit Nazi arsonists. May their socks stay wet for an entire year.
A punishment I’d only wish on Nazis
What if their shirt’s sleeve got all rolled up when they put on a sweatshirt? Or is that a bridge too far?
It’s really impressive how much of the UK media is making excuses for the rioters.
I think Reform and the Conservatives think this is good for them, I know it’s worked in the past but TBD.
Is it even ‘using it against them’ if they’re putting out a fire?
When they repeatedly used them to keep the rioters at range what would you call that?
