found or more likely created out of thin air and lies.

Is ICC now trying to appease the Orange? I’m sure Orange will be all friendly to Karim regardless whether he actually did something or not.

Wait, so they suspended someone who is already on voluntary leave and has been cleared of the allegations by literal international judges? At the same time, Judges who supported the investigation have been personally sanctioned and treated as if they are terrorists.

It’s almost like Israel’s threat to destroy him and the court is coming to fruition.

Tough situation. For one, ICC needs to react. On the other hand, ICC should know that allegations could be faked. ICC is not a brand and does not need to make shareholders happy. And one of the core principles in law is usually (except in the US): In dubio pro reo. In doubt, decide for the accused. And unless someone is convicted, they have to be treated as innocent.

So I have mixed feelings about this.

I wonder who they paid to lie about sexual assault this time? It worked so well to keep Julian Assange penned up.

I wasn’t aware that people believe that fascist assange wasn’t guilty. That’s weird.

edit: Are y’all really trying to say there was a conspiracy to assassinate the character of the dude who went far our of his way to get trump elected and also literally caused many afghani deaths with his “fuck it release it all I don’t care about consequences” attitude? I’m not even sure where you’d get that idea from. Everything I know about him seems exactly in line with the accusations against him.

Many feel the accusations seemed pretty convenient since they wanted to take down Assagne and WikiLeaks

Who is “they”? Have you by chance seen en.wikipedia.org/…/We_Steal_Secrets:_The_Story_of… ? iirc we hear directly from some of the women.

I did not come away from watching that thinking Assange is a good dude. Everyone who worked with him and spoke on the doc seemed to think he started off heroic and then became an evil egomaniac after a couple years.
