Are they just normalizing doing random BS for contrived “security reasons”? I think Americans are already pretty used to idiotic security theater so they may as well just save time and skip to the next step.
Got me wondering if they did whatever they needed to do almost immediately, but said 10 days just to distract. That 10-day restriction got a lot of coverage, but what they got done before they reversed it has had none
