And the country just keeps dragging its heels on switching to renewable sources of energy. They seem to have many of the same problems as Germany. A dependence on fossil fuel infrastructure, a fear of nuclear power (admittedly with a bit more history there), and a car culture led by major global brands who absolutely refuse to promote EV production in any meaningful way.
