Midair collision with another aircraft. Doesn’t have any details about the other aircraft. Midair refueling is dangerous, I’m guessing it was that.

According to CBS News, the other aircraft involved in the crash of was another KC-135; the tanker that crashed in Iraq was carrying a total of six military personnel.

It doesn’t make any sense.

Could be something similar to the Flight 1907 incident where a private jet down a 737, simply because of how its wing clipped/cut through the 737’s as they flew past each other.

…and everyone was ignoring their radar and comms.

Was one refueling the other? Can they even do that?

It looks like some of them can but not all. I would have guessed not, so that’s surprising to me.

So Iran doesn’t even need to shoot down US aircraft. The US and allies will just take care of it for them.

More loss of life and taxpayer dollars somewhere the USA shouldn’t even be.
