Markets are hilarious. They act like Trump can decide when it’s over. They can lob shit at the Straits forever, the only way out of this is a ground invasion and once people figure that out, watch out.
Iran has zero desire, and nothing to gain from ending the war now or negotiating. They can’t trust the US anyway.
Their best shot is eliminating Trump and barring that, inflicting huge economic pain on the world. Daring the world to put troops on the ground.

Erm Iran gains no longer having attacks against them if the US where to call it quits.
Sure it’s not going to be permanent but it would be preferred over a war that potentially topple the regime
