the US claims to invest in alot of things that never come to fruition, especially around election time.
and even if it does invest, it’ll just be like the billions poured into giving every american broadband… in that it will boost stockprices of ISPs, and let the CEOs buy new yachts, and absolutely no change in service or accessibility for the customers.

Yeh there's never money for reforms, then if there's a war to fund or petrol involved they always find a few billion under three sofa.
