The M4 is not a machine gun. And there’s no way to tell where it’s made without close inspection, which I doubt he was able to make. IWI makes several AR-pattern rifles in Israel. The story is bad enough without wild and baseless stuff like that.

Machine gun, assault rifle, whatever. It shoot many bullets make you go owwie.
It is a US made gun in general and is used by the US military and thus very likely to have been supplied by them I think was the point? Sure it could’ve been made elsewhere, but seeing US military gear used to essentially kidnap a US politician should be a bigger deal than a lot of media is making it.
A lot of those rifles make their way to settlers’ hands through various channels.
And machine gun is just vernacular for a fully automatic rifle.
Making it loudly known that you’re ammosexual doesn’t detract from the point the Congressman was making, which is that it’s fucking ridiculous to have a bunch of plain clothes teenagers pointing weapons that the US gave them just for visiting a village that they decided to vandalize days prior.
