The team has nearly tripled in size since then, growing from 10 members at the 2016 Rio Games to 37 in Paris.

10 -> 20 is double

10 -> 30 is double double

10 -> 40 is triple

The original draft probably said “nearly a 300% increase” and then the editor didn’t know the difference between percent increase and basic multiplication.

Are we sure she’s a woman? Has she been tested? Did a boxing organization the IOC doesn’t recognize because of their corruption give her a test but won’t say what test they gave? What if she’s trans and just trying to take advantage of claiming to be female on her birth certificate? What if she has too much testosterone for a woman? What if she can punch other women really hard and they will get hurt?!

Or are some women exceptions?
