Ahh. Although I doubt they’ve been like that for ten years, if that’s happened here, so likely a maintenance issue.
Blancolirio’s video (link below) on the topic said that that there was a suggested (but not required) maintenance item and that it has not been done on the accident aircraft.
Though the accidental switch bump hypothesis seems less likely to me considering that the engines were shut off one second apart. Maybe the final report will provide an explanation for that…
