There is a very simple answer.

crandlecan@mander.xyz on 20 Apr 18:41 next collapse

Conquer Ukraine? 😑

✌️

ThePowerOfGeek@lemmy.world on 20 Apr 18:47 collapse

Have more babies, right? Or failing that, kidnap children from occupied Ukraine? That’ll fix everything, immediately!

Oh, and send more young men into the meat grinder. That’ll help too.

thebasementcakes@leminal.space on 20 Apr 19:06 next collapse

Remember Putin was promoting young people having more babies 16 years ago, shows he was planning for war and casualties

Tollana1234567@lemmy.today on 21 Apr 07:06 collapse

he again promoting mothers should have 10 or babies like 2 years ago.

esc@piefed.social on 20 Apr 19:04 next collapse

Sacrifice at least 10 thousand people every day until m*scovian gods satisfied. Works every time!

Banned from .ml

Lydon_Feen@lemmy.world on 20 Apr 18:54 next collapse

If they are admiting this publicly, the situation must be much, much worse.

Drusas@fedia.io on 20 Apr 19:36 next collapse

Nice.

Exactly. Dude’s pointing Solovjov at Elvira Nabiullina. They would have been buggered years ago if she wasn’t such a genius (or allowed to resign). Now they’ve even burned through their gold reserves.

Twisted wiener up their own ass buggered 👉👌

fisch@lemmy.world on 20 Apr 20:09 next collapse

Don’t worry guys, I’m sure the oligarchs and their families will be fine.

WhatAmLemmy@lemmy.world on 20 Apr 20:36 next collapse

I’d sleep much better knowing that they are not okay…

There are sometimes Russian news of courts confiscating everything from yet another awful corrupt person, that somehow infiltrated crystal clear ranks of government.

To me it always feels like Putin scrambling for spare change in the pocket: when budget is thinning just pop another corrupt official from the ones you left on the top shelf in case of a black day

Tollana1234567@lemmy.today on 21 Apr 07:10 collapse

they just have to stay away from windows, and tall story buildings, or airplanes and boats or dont leave thier undergarments unattended.

Paywalled crap

Gammelfisch@lemmy.world on 20 Apr 21:38 next collapse

I do not trust the Russians and Vlad can carry on wrecking his country. Just remember, Russia signed the Budapest Agreement and fucked it all up. Zero sympathy.

nao@sh.itjust.works on 20 Apr 21:46 next collapse

If they are saying that, does that mean they are actually not in trouble?

ms_lane@lemmy.world on 20 Apr 22:15 collapse

Вова who cried wolf.

Aurenkin@sh.itjust.works on 20 Apr 22:18 next collapse

Don’t worry guys Trump is helping as much as he can! Causing a global oil crisis and then lifting sanctions on Russia has massively increased the profits Putin is getting from oil.

EmpireInDecay@lemmy.ml on 20 Apr 22:26 next collapse

How many times have we heard this story? Russia days away from collapse, Putin with cancer dead in weeks, Russia is fighting with WWII shovels, only 1 week left before Russia is out of weapons.

TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world on 21 Apr 06:25 collapse

Being in a war is bound to become more expensive the longer it drags. Most people, with their instant gratification, think Russia will fall any minute now, but reality is far more of a slow burn. It was obvious from the moment Russia failed to subdue Ukraine, that they would repeat the consequences of their Afghan invasion nearly 40 years ago. The Soviet defeat in Afghanistan was a slow burn that dragged for 10 years, in which the economic costs-- along with mitigating the disaster at Chernobyl-- contributed to the fall of the Soviet Union.

Tollana1234567@lemmy.today on 21 Apr 07:09 next collapse

trump lifting sanctions is likely slowing that burn down even more.

EmpireInDecay@lemmy.ml on 21 Apr 16:24 collapse

The point is the propaganda that the US isnt losing another war never ends

switcheroo@lemmy.world on 20 Apr 23:52 next collapse

If only we could figure out WHY everything there sucks… Couldn’t be the leadership, could it? Naaaah. Could it though?

How about we remove the one in charge since all accountability should be at that person’s feet. Hmmm. Such a conundrum. Guess we’ll never know.

(Fucking snakes never know when to just fuck off. The Epstein class and the rest of parasites are ruining our world— when are we going to stop this already??? So tired…)

Gerudo@lemmy.zip on 21 Apr 00:17 next collapse

But their bread is so fresh!

CircaV@lemmy.ca on 21 Apr 01:04 next collapse

Maybe stop attacking Ukraine then??

WanderingThoughts@europe.pub on 21 Apr 06:02 collapse

They can’t. Russia’s economy is only war now. Large parts of the private sector went bankrupt some time ago. Stopping the war would also cause an economic crash

ZILtoid1991@lemmy.world on 21 Apr 06:34 next collapse

Good. Let the crash bring down that fascist colonizer!

Tollana1234567@lemmy.today on 21 Apr 07:08 next collapse

plus 1million+ men fled russia early in the war too. since russia has 144m people, they lost 1/14 population from that alone, and then the “deaths and casualties”

staph@sopuli.xyz on 21 Apr 07:13 next collapse

Sorry the math ain’t mathing. 1M is a lot, and russia has significantly damaged its demographics, but the math just ain’t mathing

nibbler@discuss.tchncs.de on 21 Apr 07:17 collapse

Nah, it works out fine. If you lose 1 in 144, that clearly calculates to 1 in 14. Maybe even 1 in 1. Anybody seen Russia lately?

sukhmel@programming.dev on 21 Apr 09:18 collapse

Besides, as much as I wish for the numbers to be big, most likely there were less than 1M leaving the country for good.

nibbler@discuss.tchncs.de on 21 Apr 09:27 collapse

Also leaving Russia does not equate to disagreeing with Russia. Just disagreeing with personally dying for Russia.

SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca on 21 Apr 12:07 collapse
