What other relics do you hold?

Dunno why but I’ve still got my '99 TriCon Pizza Hut shirt.

Well, that was 32 years ago.

And? Relic has always referred to things so ancient that you probably don’t even know what they are. You understand humanity has existed for many thousands of years, right?

Your personal definition does not seem to agree with the one most other people are using. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/relic

Literally sounds exactly like what I described, I just didn’t mention the religious connotation

I lived on an out-of-the-way island that closed down around that time, so we all had to move away. A few years ago I saw a youtube video of someone visiting the place, and it was a real blast from the past. It was a ghost town, my childhood locked in time like amber. The drive-thru still advertising the kids toy that came with the meal I got so many years ago.

Very bizarre to think no one lives there now.

My friend recently found his 90s LA raiders starter windbreaker jacket from jr high/ highschool going through his parents house.
