Don’t dis Oxfam, they’re doing what’s important here, even if it seems obviously pointless in this context.
Timed for the opening of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Oxfam’s report revealed global billionaire fortunes jumped 16% in 2025 to $18.3 trillion, extending an 81% rise since 2020. These gains occurred even as one in four people worldwide struggle to eat regularly and nearly half the global population live in poverty.

It really is insane to me that in all the world there’s only been one guy (Luigi, allegedly) bold enough to do something about this absurd level of inequality. Think about how many people get murdered for such petty reasons every day, and yet we all look at a few dozen people sitting on literal mountains of cash while thousands of people starve to death and all we do is shrug or wag a finger. Statistically you would expect at least a handful of people to have the right combination of fury and lack of self preservation instincts to take a shot at them and yet here we are. What a wild place to live this planet is.

There have been a few others, but we don’t remember them because they failed.
I wonder about his too. It makes ponder what the end game is for removing healthcare from so many people. Are they trying to make people desperate and angry, or are they simply greedy with no empathy or forsight?

I think Davos are the last people they need to warn…
