I mean this makes sense, the only people who care less about Palestinians than the IDF is Hamas

^ This is your brain on Hamas apologist.

There’s a lot of propaganda lies on both sides, kids, but lots of shit done by both sides too.

Lucius_Sweet@lemmy.world on 12 Mar 13:31 next collapse

This particular propaganda comes from an Israeli Zionist aligned publication. We need to carefully investigate the sources of the propaganda being fed to us on a daily basis. Hamas are also terrible but take what this propaganda is peddling with a pinch of salt.

The propaganda is everywhere. The other night on CNN they had an “Iran expert” speaking about the feeling of the people of Iran on the street and how they are all wanting the son of the Shah to return and lead a transitional government. This “expert” is Emily Schrader, a Zionist shill who has been advocating for war with Iran for years.

Not subscribing to racial superiority is Hamas apologia?? Do even hear yourself?

Oh, you mean a terrorist organization doesn’t treat its own people fairly?

clot27@lemmy.zip on 12 Mar 10:30 collapse

Hamas arent terrorist but freedom fighters

Hope that helps

ahornsirup@feddit.org on 12 Mar 12:14 next collapse

Freedom fighters don’t massacre civilians.

Freedom fighters don’t take civilians hostage.

Freedom fighters don’t parade their victims through the streets.

Freedom fighters don’t rape.

Hamas are terrorists. The fact that the IDF is also guilty of those things does not change what Hamas is, and it does not justify what Hamas does.

BrilliantantTurd4361@sh.itjust.works on 12 Mar 12:18 next collapse

One persons freedom fighter is anothers terrorist.

clot27@lemmy.zip on 12 Mar 12:38 next collapse

There are no civilians in israel, all of them are settlers so killing them, parading them, taking them hostage doesnt bother me. You dont want to be killed? great dont steal someone else’s homeland because it was promised you 3000 years ago.

If you are under siege and your homeland is stolen your people live in big prison camp with blockade and you get bombed randomly ofcourse you will foster hate and when that hate comes out it shouldnt be called terrorism

As far as r@pe goes they might have committed some of them, altho there is no concrete proof that they engage in mass rape atrocities.

ahornsirup@feddit.org on 12 Mar 12:55 collapse

You’re aware that the current year is 2026, not 1948 right? The vast majority of Israelis are not settlers who moved there, they were born there.

clot27@lemmy.zip on 12 Mar 15:31 collapse

So what? occupation doesnt become moral if you survive one generation Also all israelis are bound to serve in IOF meaning almost all of them are terrorists

If you have an issue with something Palestine does in defense of itself, blame Israel for forcing it to desperation through decades of genocide.

If they could afford the tanks and advanced missiles that Israel throws at them I’m sure it would look more even. But since they can’t… They do what they must. A kid dies? A tragedy to be sure. But blame Israel for making the situation so. And know that so many more Palestinian children were brutalized and killed.

BarbecueCowboy@lemmy.dbzer0.com on 12 Mar 12:26 collapse

There’s a well populated category on Wikipedia for Hamas suicide bombings. It’s important to remember the difference between Hamas and the Palestinian people.

If you think there’s a good guy on the geopolitical stage, you’ve fallen for government propaganda.

clot27@lemmy.zip on 12 Mar 12:38 next collapse

who were the victims of those suicide bombings? Mostly israelis, so I dont care

FatCrab@slrpnk.net on 12 Mar 13:01 collapse

You are advocating for the exact same crimes being inflicted on the Palestinian people. Collective indiscriminate “punishment” is abhorrent no matter what.

craftymansamcf@lemmy.world on 12 Mar 13:03 next collapse

A slave killing his master is not a crime, so the actions of Hamas are not either

clot27@lemmy.zip on 12 Mar 15:30 collapse

Nope. Israelis are settlers Palestinians are natives.

bdonvr@thelemmy.club on 12 Mar 14:24 collapse

And?

It’s really fucked up that Israeli genocide drove them to such extreme and desperate warfare.

According to a 2018 study published by Oxford University Press, Ynet publishes articles and interviews at the instigation of the Israeli government, without declaring any connection with the government – these publications aim to stir up pro-Israeli sentiment.[12]

Jesus we’re just posting straight Zionist propaganda on the Fediverse and people are seemingly swallowing it whole?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ynet

Ynet is an Israeli news and general-content website, and the online outlet for the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

Wonder who owns Yedioth Ahronoth…

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnon_Mozes

Arnon “Noni” Mozes (Hebrew: ארנון מוזס; born 1 April 1953) is the editor-in-chief, controlling owner and chair of the board of directors in the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth. Mozes’ media career has resulted in close ties to many Israeli government officials, including Benjamin Netanyahu, Ehud Olmert and Haim Ramon.

…Mozes either refused to publish articles that exposed government wrongdoing or corruption or would ask to shorten them and omit some of the content.

Did your mother never tell you that Wikipedia is not a source. Anybody can just edit it to say what they like. At least do the minimum and quote the source that Wikipedia used and it only referred to one election and one study carried out by a newspaper and the “Israeli Democracy Institute” who sound shady AF.

Yedioth Ahronoth is frequently critical of Benjamin Netanyahu.[20] A study conducted by Moran Rada with the Israeli Democracy Institute showed that Yedioth’s coverage of the 2009 Israeli legislative election was biased in favor of Kadima and its leader Tzipi Livni in most editorial decisions,
