According to Reuters, the U.S. and Israel have been planning this large-scale operation to strike Iran for the past few months, and the start date was decided a few weeks ago. Given this, the U.S., it seems, already expected that any negotiations with Iran on nuclear weapons would not be successful and that Tehran would not make any concessions.

Iran already made concessions, and it’s hypocritical to demand someone won’t do something you already do
It doesn’t say what’s unusual here, anywhere in the article. Is the title just referring to war in general?
Maybe the fact that they attacked under a truce and had been planning to for weeks if not months before the negotiations even began?
Usually only Israel would do that kind of bullshit.
