GB News is facing a backlash after a commentator on one of its shows suggested there is “a genocide happening” against white people in England and that immigrants could “turn” on the white population.

Ofcom, the media regulator, has received a series of complaints about the comments by Thomas Corbett-Dillon.

Corbett-Dillon, who worked on Penny Mordaunt’s unsuccessful Conservative party leadership campaign and who also claims to have advised Boris Johnson, appeared on GB News’s US-based Late Show Live last week.

During a discussion about the UK government’s anti-extremism strategy, Corbett-Dillon said: “I hate this idea that England is just a no man’s land. No, there is an indigenous population that have lived on that island for thousands of years.

“If this was happening in any other place around the world, everyone would be defending and saying: ‘Wow, there’s a genocide happening in this island because it is being taken over by different people that are not indigenous to that land.’”

Later on, responding to a former Liberal Democrat councillor who said he was proud to come from Leicester, Corbett-Dillon said “once again, another country is being turned into a no longer white nation”.

The cheapening and debasing of the word genocide is a scary preview of the future…

That’s one of the reasons they’re using the term: trivialising its meaning through excessive repetition, so that they can quibble about semantics when real genocide is being discussed.

The Celts? Anglo-Saxons? Vikings? Normans?

The line has been so distorted by historical invasions that I just assume anyone talking like this doesn’t have a clue what they’re ranting about.

The same thing could be said of all racists.

The genetic record shows that the majority of the “indigenous” population has remained quite stable since at least the 5th century BCE. There was a small but significant signal from the Anglo-Saxon invasion, a barely-detectable one from the Danes in a small number of places on the Northeast coast, and essentially nothing significant from the Normans, the Huguenots, or anyone else until the advent of 20th century immigration from the Empire.

And just as an indication of how stable populations (as opposed to languages and cultures) can be: there’s still a very clear genetic differentiation between those on the west of the Tamar and those on the east. And as a jam-first person, that’s as it should be. Wouldn’t want my daughter marryin’ one of that cream-first lot.

Also, sarcasm aside: racists like this blubbery pillock are a cancer on society.

What’s most annoying to me about this is that white nationalists just mash together a whole bunch of different groups who used to war with and destroy each other. Now they’re just all one “white” identity somehow. There’s never been a more fake and meaningless label for people in the history of the world.

So are the streets in GB full of white corpses or what? What’s the method of the murders? Where’s police?

“You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
