[very powerful, beautifully written account by a Cuban doctor.]

By an Anonymous Cuban Surgeon

This article was originally published by CounterPunch.

I am a surgeon in Havana, Cuba.

Last month, I operated on an elderly man with a perforated peptic ulcer. The surgery was textbook. I closed his abdomen cleanly, without complication. We had antibiotics available that time. What we did not have was intravenous crystalloid fluid for resuscitation. It’s the most basic of solutions, cheap enough to cost almost nothing, yet essential enough to save almost everything. It exists. It is manufactured in Santiago de Cuba, 500 miles away. It could not reach Havana since there was no petroleum to transport it. By the time it arrived, my patient had died.

This is known for quite some time.

It’s estimated that the sanctions against Saddams Iraq, including medical products such as antibiotics, subsequently caused the death of ~ 200 k children due to treatable diseases.

I can’t really blame any parents who hate the sanctioning nations afterwards.

And that was Bill Clinton, famous character from the Epstein child-torture saga. Seems Mr. Clinton is one sick evil fuck who deserves to be scalped on live TV.

If we do that to Clinton, we need to do it to every US president.

This is a suggestion, not a complaint.

They absolutely do, and it is shameful for the democracies of the west that there is no outcry against what USA is doing.
And no humanitarian help to Cuba, except from Russia and China, and they are doing next to nothing to help.
But first and foremost fuck USA for doing this, and for sabotaging Cuba and undermining their economy for more than half a century now.

USA is despicable in their abuse of power against a country that has done nothing to deserve it.
