Oh man, imagine if we’d treated our democracies like a red line and told Xi years and years ago to avoid all that influencing.
Edit: Some downvotes had me pondering some more digs at our hubris about our systems, but instead would add that my dig at Chinese interference isn’t a defence of American interferences.

Who would have thought that a dictator hates democracy.
Wild that Xi would just explicitly come out as opposing Taiwan, democracy, human rights, and rights to development. But I suppose the people who need to hear it, those being Chinese citizens, either won’t ever hear about it or will reject it if they do.
There’s also the third option of “They agree 100%”
