That’s not how tariffs work, it’s the USians paying and the tariffs go to the US government (’it’s not taxes’, said like Arnie Shwarzenegger going ‘it’s not a tumor’). World still going OK, but chuckling if they know. Every TACO 100% tariff is US inflation.

That is a true statement but I am just pointing out that by trading with China they are also trading with Russia. Russia needs to isolated and right now so does America and I live here. We need to pay for our hubris.
Is trump smarter than we gave him credit? It looks as if the tariffs are to intentionally harm us rather than raise funds or did he really believe tariffs would boost economy? I really can’t tell, either way it’s benefiting him

Here is the problem I see with this. China is a Russian ally so any traded with this is also trading with Russia by proxy.
