If Trump wants to stop the war, he still could blame it all on Israel, cut ties with Netanyahu and open up real diplomacy with Iran. It’s that or escalate. So we’re going to escalate.

Tbf all the US leaders are being blackmailed by Mossad honeypots ala jeevacations, if someone told you “hey go shoot that guy or we’ll show everyone the video of you fucking and killing a 9yo” you’d probably go shoot the guy.
Does that make it better? No not really, but under those circumstances I can see how we’d become a vassal state quite easily.
