Not even 50 percentile

They’re the ones who brag about being in the 94th percentile.

Treczoks@lemmy.world on 26 Apr 2026 05:38 next collapse

Well,is he serious?

deadbeef79000@lemmy.nz on 26 Apr 2026 18:24 collapse

As serious as a todler’s tantrum when you didn’t let them eat gravel.

Iran Suggests US Not ‘Truly Serious About Diplomacy’

I mean they’re absolutely correct. Donny doesn’t even know what that word means. It’s all about the artlessness of the grift to him.

redsand@infosec.pub on 27 Apr 2026 00:48 collapse

Donald has no ability to be serious. Ghislane is Mossad’s half of the blackmail duo and they’re going to go on annexing Lebanon regardless

WanderingThoughts@europe.pub on 26 Apr 2026 08:38 next collapse

He means they’re not kissing his ass or being intimidated by his threats. Trump can’t deal with anything besides those.

Several commenters here seem to be reading the headline backwards.

US Not ‘Truly Serious About Diplomacy’

as demonstrated by

Trump Cancels Kushner-Witkoff Trip

It’s Iran accusing the US of not being serious, not the other way around.

panthera_@lemmy.today on 26 Apr 2026 14:36 next collapse

Europe, Russia, and China should get together and negotiate with Iran. If they propose a deal and Iran accepts, it will pressure Trump to accept. The problem with Trump is that he might be demanding too much. That’s the reason Iran says the US is not serious.

ChapulinColorado@lemmy.world on 26 Apr 2026 15:55 next collapse

The first of many problems is he did away with the equivalent of their president for no good reason.

Doomsider@lemmy.world on 26 Apr 2026 20:44 collapse

I think murdered his whole family would be more accurate.

Europeans are doing the opposite. Refusing to directly talk to Iran and start imposing additional sanctions limiting Iran capacity to defend itself against a country total collapse

ChonkyOwlbear@lemmy.world on 26 Apr 2026 15:16 next collapse

At first I read that as “US not truly serious about democracy” and well …

Not_mikey@lemmy.dbzer0.com on 26 Apr 2026 15:44 next collapse

But he’s sending his best son and a real estate mogul to demand Iran capitulate on all his points. Why do they think he’s not serious?

ms_lane@lemmy.world on 27 Apr 2026 14:03 collapse

The two people Iran has expressly said aren’t welcome at the table.

They invited JD of all people (who knows why) and then he took Kushner and Wiktoff with him and negotiations never even begun.

Iran isn’t going to negotiate anything while the US is acting in bad faith.

SeductiveTortoise@piefed.social on 26 Apr 2026 16:33 next collapse

At least they can’t send Kissinger anymore.

kreskin@lemmy.world on 26 Apr 2026 23:25 next collapse

Weird, the only people in the world who really wanted the negotiations canceled and had nothing to gain from them were the Israelis. Ah well. Must be a coincidence.

Sam_Bass@lemmy.world on 26 Apr 2026 23:35 collapse

Got that right
