Summary

Patriarch Kirill, head of Russia’s Orthodox Church, warned that Russians’ increasing focus on entertainment over war efforts risks eroding Russia’s “civilizational identity.” He noted growing “weariness” among citizens after nearly three years of military operations in Ukraine, lamenting that many prioritize personal comfort over supporting the military.

The Orthodox Church has publicly backed the war, calling it a “holy war.”

Man I honestly kind of miss MBFC. I know it’s biased but for a source like “The Moscow Times” a quick glance would be perfect to tell me if this is russian propaganda or a legitimate news site.

Surprisingly: High Credibility, Left-Center Bias, High Factuality

The Moscow Times is owned by TMT LLC, which is supported by the Dutch Foundation Stichting Oktober, promoting independent journalism in Russia and is based in the Netherlands.

So it’s based in the Netherlands which probably explains that.

I looked it up on wikipedia and they were banned in Russia haha. Probably a good proxy for how good a news source is.
