This is like a man dressed in rags gloating at another man who lost his jacket.

Europe is looking at china, looks pretty good

Europe is not looking at China too much. The entire “no-limits friendship” with Russia is hurting that relationship pretty badly.

Yeah, NATO going through a crisis similar to a regular day in the Warsaw Pact is a big problem…good thing russia got rid of it, lol.

Europe just deterred a potential invader that was far more powerful than Russia.

Did it though?

Trump used to refuse to exclude the possibility of using military force and was even downright threatening it. Europe stood firm and made it clear that this would result in a war. Trump chickens out soon after and goes back to asking for “negotiations” over Greenland in which Europe will continue to tell him to go suck eggs. He even dropped the tariff threats.

No one can see what’s happening behind the scenes but it really looks like Europe finally standing together and stopping to try to appease Trump had a huge effect.

Trump always agrees with the last person he talked to. He’s one meeting away from sending a carrier group to Greenland.

Europe is actually having its “lawyer up and hit the gym” moment.

Agree. Europe being forced to find its spine won’t be good news for Vladdy.

Besides divesting from the US, one of the most effective strategies that the Euopeans can pursue is to further tighten sanctions on Russian oligarchs and the shadow fleet. Some intelligence-sharing to enable Ukraine to drone a few troll farms would also work wonders and would deflate the fake “momentum” that the far right is currently enjoying in Europe.
