The UK should hire Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as part time representatives. They would be sent to various countries especially those in the Commonwealth to improve ties. Markle would be especially popular with nonwhites. They would be paid per visit with funds from the Royal Family. King Charles dislikes his son too much to realize the couple is an asset to the UK.

Counterpoint, and hear me out on this, we could force them to give up most of their family wealth (mostly gotten over the backs of the people and slavery) and make anything remotely like monarchy illegal. Have them earn their living like the rest of us plebs.

Putting these kinds of people on a pedestal is pathetic.

I suggest we dress them up in funny hats.

The Monarchy brings money into the UK because things associated with the Monarchy draws tourism. As long as the Royal Family is popular, it will draw crowds. That’s the reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are important. King Charles and Prince Williams don’t see this because of their dislike for Prince Harry and his wife. The UK government, however, must realize the couple is an asset.

That’s when he was young. He also fought in Afghanistan. In contrast, his father and brother although in the military never saw combat.
