I know this isn’t supposed to be cool, but it’s so cool.
Imagined a semi-submersible, capable of carrying 1.5 tonnes, essentially built in a backyard, autonomously cross an entire ocean. That’s pretty cool.
If it was autonomous, why did it need starlink?
Autonomous vehicles often have network connectivity to allow the owner to track, monitor, and send commands.
Not for control, but for tracking/monitoring.
I’d imagine the people that sent it would like to know where it is and if it arrives or gets intercepted.
