I don’t think he’s ever recognized reality, his mental illness is such that there is no reality, just self interest, and what he can pressure people into pretending to believe. Typical narcissistic but as a billionaire that’s been able to really indulge his dark side and abuse people in ways most narcissists could only dream of.
There are no limits if you’re willing to take huge losses You can ignore limits if you don’t give a fuck about losses. Limits are for pussies, look at your dicktator bud putain.
Dude’s gonna get a carrier fucked up and then spend another 20 years bombing the ME out of spite while crying about it.

Small correction: It won't be only him (or even his allies); bombing the ME while crying about it is bipartisan.

This further reinforces something I’ve been arguing for a while now; Trump doesn’t like the idea of war.
He’s a big fan of military power. He loves flexing, loves brandishing his YUGE military. And he loves quick, decisive military action. The bombing raids in Nigeria and Iran, the kidnapping of Maduro. But he doesn’t like war, and he’s very, very hesitant to push for any kind of protracted military action. He wants quick, easy results. He wants instant gratification. War is long and complicated and messy, and when people die everyone gets upset at you. Trump doesn’t have the patience or the willpower for long term projects and war is very much a long term project.
None of this is to suggest that he’s some kind of pacifist or rationalist. He’s happy to destabilize global peace, he’s happy to kill people in droves. He might as well be a warmonger when judged by the effect he’s had on the world stage. He’s just really, really bad at it.

Yeah, classic bully behavior. He doesn’t want a fight, he wants to push a smaller kid to the ground and take his money.
He was out of control talking shit before though, unpredictable, even as he reliably sold out to powerful interests he needed on his side. He’s less cognizant, and less in control of anything, than prior. In the 2020 election he was very active in leading the attempt to start the steal for instance, something he would be incapable of now.
He doesn’t know what is going on, his handlers are running the show. The project 2025 people. They know what they are doing, giving Israel their forever war as they use their epstein blackmail to get it despite the dangers to runaway inflation from the Straits of Hormuz being shut down, 25% of the world’s oil passes through there, to say nothing of if Iran hits Saudi oil fields again, and the us didn’t care to much protect them when the houthis hit it years back. Before that, the Saudis were the loudest in favor of an Iran war, after they are against it.

This motherfucker was elected on promises not to entangle us in more foreign wars, and to his credit, he actually disentangled us from several in his first term. (Most notably Syria and Afghanistan, though Biden did his best to keep us enmeshed in the forever WoT.)
Of course, when one is faced with the revelation of one’s pedophilia to the world, I suppose wagging the dog becomes a more important priority, even if tens of thousands of people are killed in the process.

If you actually think we stopped being involved in Syria and Afghanistan even after the main force returned, I have a bridge to sell you.

Oh, I have no illusions about that. I recall when Barack Obama supposedly ended the Iraq war but just called the 50,000 servicemen he left behind ‘advisers’ instead of ‘soldiers’.
But comparing small-scale covert action to large-scale military deployment is apples-to-oranges. I also think one of the few good things about Donald is his reticence to resort to large-scale military deployments, and I wish Obama and Biden had been that way too.
He seriously wants to drop a big ol’ bomb somewhere then put up a mission accomplished banner. This is all in service if his need to be a hero. So very sad.

He is desperately hoping to use a nuclear weapon somewhere. At this point I think it’s inevitable and we Americans are forced to hope that it won’t be used on us, or have retribution nukes launched at us.

I’m fairly sure he spends most of his time frustrated with limits of reality.

Yes, there are no limits to his losses 😉
Don’t say that - he will.

Yeah, he was elected on that and his famous truthfulness.
Problem with your logic is he actually did draw down protracted wars in his first term.

We’ll be lucky if he leaves office before setting off a nuke somewhere.
Why haven’t we collectively removed him yet ? There’s evidence being found that Elon and Thiel rigged the election. He rapes and kills children
