Sooooo UK citizens aren't allowed to speak out against Israel or even say anything remotely bad about Israel but the UK government is all "we can treat Isreal however we want"

If I were living in the UK right now and I read this article I'd be all "what the fuck? rules for me but not for thee?"

This is absolutely false. You will find countless MPs in Parliament criticizing Israel. You will find countless articles in the British press criticizing Israel.

What you are referring to Palestine Action arrests.

This organization was banned after they breached into a Royal Airforce Base:

Whether you think banning this organization is justified or not, this isn’t remotely close to “UK citizens aren’t allowed to speak out”

There was literally a guy the other day that was arrested for wearing a t-shirt about the genocide in palestine or was he also associated with this group

killeronthecorner@lemmy.world on 29 Aug 15:35 collapse

This was actually a funny one. They thought his t-shirt said Palestine Action, referring to the terrorist group, but it actually said Plasticine Action.

Of course they tried to arrest him anyway, because authoritarians gonna authoritah and the biggest crime in the world to law enforcement is observing them making a mistake.

Ah excellent more actions that amount to little more than finger wagging from the government.
