This happens when you massacres the Palestinian race and steal land since 1948 meanwhile making Apartheid, humiliate the Palestinian people, steal their homes, kill their entire families, acquaintances and friends. At one point, people will break and do anything to fight back. Thats exactly what’s happening right now.
Right now, Hamas killed all opposition and their propaganda is deeply rooted into the majority of palestinian population.
The biggest Hamas propoganda is Israel. Happens when you keep murdering entire families, steal homes, lands and do not give actual human rights to the Palestinian people.
It is clearly not as simple as getting rid of all these illegal settlers…

Your opinions are not relevant to the factual error I was correcting.
They would like to, if they succeed in destroying Israel, they will keep going expanding globally, no doubt about that.
But obviously, the arab league and Israel wont accept this BS any longer from Iran. Hamas will disappear, every countries accepted Gaza fate, sad but necessary evil. Hezbollah will follow quickly after. And its for the better, no doubt about this.

Not that Hamas are great guys or anything but they have changed their charta and have agreed to a 2 state solution. They are more moderate than the Israeli government although that isn’t particularly challenging. I wouldn’t want to live under a corrupt and authoritarian organization like Hamas so not even trying to defend them but this comment is wildly inaccurate.
Can you explain what exactly is Hamas‘ propaganda and why you believe that it has any relevance right now? Hamas is only influential in the Gaza Strip where the population right now is busy surviving a genocide. In the West Bank and in diaspora, Hamas is basically irrelevant.
That being said I also want Israel to be wiped off from existence because a settler colonial apartheid state that commits genocide shouldn’t exist. There should be a democratic state instead that gives everyone equal rights and also respects the Palestinian right of return.
Right now, Hamas agrees to a 2 state solution, which would be a start. Right now, the Israelis have decided that they oppose such a solution. Israelis want all of Palestine without the Palestinians. The USA, UK & Germany are providing rhetorical and political support for this policy. That needs to change before any armed resistance becomes unnecessary.

Gaza has never been anything like „an independent Palestinian state“ it’s been an open air prison ever since Israel withdrew their settlers. Hamas sucks but they are not the problem, the problem is that Zionists want all of Palestine without Palestinians.
Hamas is the problem, Hezbollah is the problem and Iran is the problem.
Illegal settlers would not be a problem if Hamas was doing its job: protecting palestinians instead of attacking peaceful population (be it egyptian, israeli or palestinian themselves…).

I believe that unless it is resolved, the end of the war will only be temporary.
I believe that bringing a Palestinian state into being at least on paper would help bring that about more than anything else the U.S. could do.
