The time to act on this was several months ago, now its too late. Russia regulatory captured the US, the US wont go to war alongside Europe against Russia now, So now, Europe either has to prepare for a shooting war, or accept russian hegemony over europe.

You think Trump won’t be friendly towards Russia? It’s almost a done deal that he will backstab Ukraine.
I hate to fall into conspiracy theories, but even if Russia doesn’t outright own Trump, they’re easily able to manipulate him by catering to his ego. Trump has mentioned many times that he likes Putin.
Trump is not a regulator, or even a bureaucrat.
Russia does not have hegemony over Europe.
Hegemony over Europe? That seems laughable when they’re borrowing troops and buying bullets from fucking North Korea. This isn’t the height of the Cold War. Russia’s economy has been hollowed out by decades of kleptocracy and misrule. I’m pretty sure at this point any one of France, Germany, or Britain could win a conventional shooting war with Russia.
No one wins a nuclear war, obviously. Russia can still be a threat. But being a nuisance in the Baltic Sea and screwing with Moldova doesn’t make them look powerful enough to be a hegemon over shit.
To be clear. What I’m talking about is russian influence and blackmail that ultimately leaves Europe divided and Infighting. Without the physical force part.
Effectively giving them the result they want without fighting the war of conquest to achieve it. I’m aware they can’t fight for shit. Ukraine showed that. But they are still tearing the west apart with information warfare.
That’s not hegemony.
Russia is like a bank robber with a bazooka to your head. Yeah, their home life is shit, but they’re still holding you hostage, and they have a lot less to lose than you do.
You have higher chance of realizing you believe stupid propaganda than russia has annexing another country.
