Shouldn’t the US get our affairs in order and deal with our judges and democracy problems before we start telling Mexico how to deal with theirs?

All judges in Mexico will be elected by popular vote. Protesters in the country and trade partners the United States and Canada, as well as investors, have raised concerns over the controversial law.

As an American, I’m honestly excited to see how it will turn out. Hope it’s not a catastrophe, but at least there’ll be something to learn no matter what happens.

i doubt it since every single monied interest has come out against this change and people like that don’t sit around and hope things change in their favor; they use their money to force it and money is the perfect thing to force a government to require a small, manipulable group to decide on who gets to judge.
