The United Nations peacekeeping mission ⁠in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said a peacekeeper was killed when a projectile exploded at one of its ‌positions ⁠near the southern Lebanese village of Adchit al-Qusayr.

Another peacekeeper was critically ‌injured, it said in ⁠a statement.
