Like how the man in the corner is cooking meat đŸ€Ą

I’m not a vegan’s butt!

I’m not a vegan but I do eat vegetables sometimes

I’m a vegan but I do eat meat sometimes. See how you sound?

businessfish@lemmy.blahaj.zone on 27 May 2024 16:45 next collapse

sounds based as hell tbh

iiGxC@slrpnk.net on 27 May 2024 17:42 collapse

Based and animal abuse pilled 😎

“I’m not an engineer but I know some math and physics”

“I’m an engineer but I don’t know math or physics”

See how you sound? Well no, probably not- but that’s even funnier.

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 27 May 2024 15:33 next collapse

I’d make just as much fun of a ‘paleo diet’ post though. Just don’t make your diet your personality and it won’t be an issue.

jol@discuss.tchncs.de on 27 May 2024 15:56 next collapse

Yes because you can tell a person’s whole personality from a single comment.

It sounds like being anti vegan is your whole personality

jol@discuss.tchncs.de on 27 May 2024 16:23 collapse

Exactly. The fact that you don’t realize you’re also in an “in group” speaks volumes

Nobody called themselves a victim, it’s a joke about how cunts like you love to come in to vegan communities and have a whinge for no clear reason. The fact you don’t see the irony is hilarious.

"Omg a vegan post in a vegan community! Those vegans have made it their whole personality! Time to show them how funny and smart I am"

  • you, probably.

PS: your in group is assholes

Ok but all you’ve said is that we call ourselves ‘victims’ and we make being vegan our whole personality. What kind of posts were you expecting to find here? Would I go to a car community and have a whinge about car people making cars their whole personality?

You are such a silly billy, mate, come on.

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 27 May 2024 21:21 collapse

Again- showed up in my feed, didn’t know this was a vegancirclejerk until I saw all the dicks.

Honestly seems like that’s the intent though. Aren’t circlejerks usually kind of private affairs? If you start stroking in public you can’t be surprised when people point and laugh at your penis.

Nachorella@lemmy.sdf.org on 27 May 2024 22:11 collapse

skill issue

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 28 May 2024 12:22 collapse

I wouldn’t call circlejerking a ‘skill’, but I will admit this sub seems way better at it than I would be.

Nachorella@lemmy.sdf.org on 28 May 2024 13:32 collapse

I meant reading comprehension.

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 28 May 2024 13:39 collapse

Seems like you don’t really ‘mean’ anything, just making frustrated noises at me.

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 28 May 2024 14:09 collapse

vegans don’t owe you complicity and silence

Likewise though. If you’re scared of people making fun of you don’t ‘criclejerk’ in public. Nametags aren’t a thing in public spaces. Expecting people to give you a pass on jerking it in public because you’re wearing a t-shirt that says ‘circlejerk in progress’ is almost weirder than the jerking.

But like religious fruits- vegans seem to thrive on the persecution fetish and if weren’t for the public circlejerk they could just eat what they wanted for whatever reason they wanted but obviously that’s not what they’re in it for.

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 27 May 2024 21:19 collapse

Likewise

toxicbubble@lemmy.world on 28 May 2024 14:07 collapse

you’re literally on a vegan community complaining about vegans

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 28 May 2024 14:10 collapse

I’m on a circlejerk community making fun of circlejerks, but I know it feels personal when it’s your circlejerk ;)

Nachorella@lemmy.sdf.org on 27 May 2024 19:45 collapse

They made a joke post on a vegan community about how people love trolling vegan posts. And somehow you don’t see the irony in this?

Bipta@kbin.social on 27 May 2024 17:25 collapse

Paleo isn't a moral choice though... Most vegans are vegans because they see what humans do to animals as indefensible. Why would you expect them to be quiet? It's not their whole personality, you're just happier being willfully ignorant.

PS, I'm not a vegan.

jol@discuss.tchncs.de on 27 May 2024 21:33 collapse

I think I missed something. Who mentioned paleo? I thought paleo was a 2015 thing.

The person above

Duke_Nukem_1990@feddit.de on 28 May 2024 11:26 collapse

Veganism isn’t a diet.

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 28 May 2024 12:20 collapse

Sorry, you’re right. A person’s diet is just what they eat.

Evangelical Dietary Cult would be a more accurate description of veganism.

Duke_Nukem_1990@feddit.de on 28 May 2024 12:43 collapse

Still wrong.

stanleytweedle@lemmy.world on 28 May 2024 12:46 collapse

Yeah I think it is wrong to be in any evangelical group. The dietary cult part doesn’t bother anyone until they start proselytizing.
