Recipe: buy a can of jackfruit. Dump that can in a frying pan with sunflower oil. Flip the pieces until they get texture.

I am an Indian, so I would add some cumin, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, Himalayan pink salt, black pepper, and maybe some bay leaves as well.

The corner shop guy I bought the can of jackfruit from is from Sri Lanka and he told me to do almost the exact same thing!
