You only need the davdriod app to sync calendars, all calendars will then show up in the default calendar app

But when i sync only the colors of the calender sync right? The colors of the events are getting messi

Every event in the calendar app should be the colour of the calendar it’s from, I have a calendar that’s purple for all our school things and the colour syncs and all the events from it are purple.

Yes, and that’s exactly my problem. I want different event colors inside one shared calendar, depending on the person – not different calendars per person. With CalDAV only the calendar color syncs, not the event colors, so everything ends up in the same color on iOS or in other apps. That makes it unusable as a TimeTree replacement for shared family or friend planning. CalDAV just isn’t designed for per-event color syncing across platforms.

I see your issue, not sure I have seen a solution to that.

You would need a custom calendar app that can colour code events, will have a look about

Fossify calendar can do this, but it’s manual. So you’d have to change the color for the event by editing the event.

Neat idea though, to color events by attendee, though that would only work for a single person, which is why it’s by calendar - the thinking being a calendar can be for a given subject.

I have calendars for myself, for household stuff, shared calendars get a unique color, etc. It’s pretty easy to move events to another calendar in Fossify. Just open the event and touch Calendar (near the bottom) and select the appropriate calendar. Or choose the correct calendar when setting up the event.

I have calendars on multiple services (approx 10 calendars) - yahoo (I know, right?) Gmail, mailbox, etc, with more than one calendar on each service. Colors work fine with DavX and Fossify, even with Thunderbird on my laptop.
