fixed Software Freedom Conservancy contractor rates

Can anyone find those? It’s not a link or anything.

HelloRoot@lemy.lol on 08 Mar 00:37 collapse

Best I could find is: salary.com/…/software-freedom-conservancy-inc-sal…

and you can guesstimate a similar range from sfconservancy.org/…/software-freedom-conservancy_…

(6 employees, ~850k salaries)

FizzyOrange@programming.dev on 08 Mar 09:33 collapse

Damn that’s pretty good! (Outside the US I mean.)

Presumably this would be a bit higher actually since it’s contract work, not full time.

What we expect from candidates:

[…]

  • Easily breaks software, deliberately or by accident

😆

Oh, i’m great in that.

But

Enjoys fixing other people’s mistakes

Uh oh.

Every major company hiring right now:

Willingness to work with AI

Inkscape:

Absolutely NO Generative AI to be used in applying to these jobs, programming, writing documentation, issue summarising or testing processes.

I’m loving this

I would have loved to apply, but it is too late to start doing Gtk4 from now, for this.

I am almost tempted to apply for the debugging thing. I love using inkscape, I am quite fonding of (code) debugging and I really like this application announcement lol.
