What is this red Arch Linux logo?

I bought a sticker pack online and one of them was a red Arch Linux logo I’ve never seen before, and strangely enough the pack did not include the blue version. What does this red version mean, is it an old logo or what? Is it some sort of testing/developer branch?

could it also be a V?

edit - after looking at the current blue logo, i agree with OP it is a red A

It has the same shape as the Arch logo though, as well as the little scratches on either side. It’s just red for some reason

Think it is an old blackarch logo - an arch based pentesting distro.

Looking up that, it looks pretty similar. The current one has a sword right through the middle, perhaps that was added later? I couldn’t find anything online about a swordless blackarch logo though. This seems like the closest answer - but why have an old blackarch logo and no regular arch logo?

This isn’t the Arch logo file as it’s been redrawn to make it 3D. Blackarch have always used the original design but red and with a sword.

My guess these are fan made stickers given out / sold at conferences. They could be fan stickers for Blackarch but they also could just be red Arch stickers for the fun of it.

Redbubble is full of the stuff. It’s pretty typical to see playful project logo stickers all over conferences that people have ordered online. My buddy buys a load of these off Redbubble to stick on laptops people leave around at cybersecurity conferences:

Maybe it’s a Christmas version

Looks like a red garden gnome hat. Perhaps Red Hat Arch Linux running GNOME … sorry

That is the "blood arch", you only get it when you utterly bork your entire system and then tirelessly rebuild it, package by package.
