It seems like when I eat meat my ears ring more. Any ideas if what causes this? Not so much with hamburger but more with pork. Thoughts?

Might it be related to the chewing of a tougher food? My tinnitus gets worse sometimes when my TMJ is acting up.

Good thought will keep track of that

Like while you’re eating it or after the fact? I’ve heard that pork is “inflammatory” maybe slight swelling in your sinuses?

Have you tried answering your ears? When my phone rings, I answer it, and it stops ringing.

Downside? You might answer your ears and get told that they’ve been trying yo reach you about your cars extended warrenty.

Do any other foods also make it worse, or is it just meat?

Could have something to do with how the saturated fats and sodium might be affecting your internal pressure.

Defs worth mentioning to a doc

Have you tried taking the bell off the pork before eating it?

Does it pulse? It can indicate high blood pressure.

CVSs and Walmarts usually have a free BP check station if OP lives in that part of the world. I second this by the way. Pork is often prepared with a lot of sodium.

Good question but no just ringing

Its the worms in the meat trying to wriggle their way out your ears

Ringing ears is often connected to psychological stress, which can have a myriad of factors, such as metabolic stress. Literally anything can cause it. I often get it when eating mold cheese (the edible type they sell at the supermarket) because despite being edible, it still does something inside my body and it takes a while for my body to process that.
