Is it Possible that a Typical Quantity of Sneezes is Inherited/Genetic?

I regularly sneeze five times, as does my mom, brother, uncle and one of two aunts (both on mom’s side, RIP), and my son.

I would say that it probably is but if it turns out to be cultural then that would be very interesting.

On QI (bbc quiz show) they once said the sound you make when you sneeze is cultural/learned, so I wouldn’t be surprised the number of sneezes is also somehow cultural.

People who have sun sneezes tend to sneeze a bunch of times at once. Sun sneezes are genetic.

Yes—sun sneezes are genetic! I have an ex who straight up said I was lying that looking into a strong light source helped me sneeze. We both didn't know it was a genetic thing, I suppose.
