If your designs depend on the fact that every composition of a composer is in one pdf file, which might contain thousands of pages and will need updates every time they create something new, your designs are seriously flawed.

The best source to get the PDFs is IMSLP.

Merging PDFs is pretty easy. Plenty of tools that help with doing it, if that’s what you want.
