Is there a dongle that can allow you to alternate output displays so I can have a computer hooked up to both its own monitor and the living room tv and switch between inputs as I wish?

There’s only 1 HDMI port that works on it and I’d like to alternate where it sends video/display

Like and HDMI male cord that has two HDMI female ports to plug in two different monitors

Yeah, it’s called an HDMI Switch.

It’s called an HDMI Splitter, and you can find them at many different price points. Just be aware that some of the lower quality models can’t handle HDCP, meaning some streaming apps like Netflix might refuse to work at full resolution

I randomly got one a while ago on Amazon that effectively lets me bypass HDCP, so I can record stuff that I’m not supposed to… I use one on my desktop to send signal to the projector for movies.

Make sure they support the same resolution if you get a splitter, otherwise you want a hdmi switch

Alternatively could you daisy-chain them and mirror the display?

Depending on your needs, you might also be looking for a Display Link adapter. These let you add a port to an existing setup to run an extra screen.
